CHRISTOPHER COOK, DPM

Dr. CookDr. Cook received a doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. After graduating in the top 10% of his class he moved his family to Albuquerque for 3 years of post doctorate surgical training.

Dr. Cook has been in private practice for a number of years and is one of the few podiatrists in the state of Colorado who is board certified in foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Cook grew up on a ranch between Meeker and Rangely. He enjoyed the outdoors and became very interested in animals. He graduated with a BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine but through various experiences found a new love for toes.

It‟s not really the anatomy that attracted Dr. Cook to podiatric medicine and surgery, but the work and satisfaction involved with helping people overcome pain and deformity. He relates, "It is the never ending challenge of combining the mind with the skills of the hand that keeps this work exciting. The reward is overwhelming when you can help people heal and walk again without pain."

Dr. Cook met his wife Dawnell at Brigham Young University where she graduated with a degree in Special Education. Dawnell is the smartest one of the family and is simply a fine woman.

When Dr. Cook is not amongst feet he tries to keep up with his family. They have two boys and two girls ranging from a teenager to a 5 year old teenager. His personal interests include amateur herpetology, running, and hunting.  Below are his credentials.
